I have a Bachelors of Fine Art in Photography from Art Center College of Design.
My personal work is about psychological spaces and dreams. My images represent the dark spaces of the mind; the stage for scenarios most commonly encountered in sleep, memories of which are always there but just out of reach. I strive to use photography as a medium for revealing stories of the inner spirit world, which exists within and along side of us all, just beyond. The dark spaces in my photographs represent the dark spaces of our minds; the void in which exists nothing, and everything. My images are to me visual poetry and silent music, to be interpreted and heard by each individually, invoking encounters with the deep mystery of ourselves, our humanity, and our mortality.
